3 more killed as violence continues in Karachi

Karachi: At least three people have been killed in different parts of Karachi, home to at least 20 million people and commercial hub of the nuclear armed nation.

Polices said on Saturday that a body had been found near Kalapul while another body stuffed in a gunny bag was recovered from Shara-e-Faisal near Society office.

The police said that armed riders shot dead a man identified as Ameel in Zaman Town area of Korangi.

Irfan, 40, who was injured in a firing incident in Orangi Town on Friday, succumbed to his injuries during treatment in a local hospital.

As many as 12 people, including workers of political and religious parties, were killed on Friday in an unending unrest in the metropolis.
