Stylist to Pakistan’s Biggest Stars, Beenish Parvez is one of Pakistan’s most sought after hair and makeup artist. Having launched her salon in 2000, Beenish has worked with the best fashion designers and photographers to create stunning images that elevate hairdressing to an art form. She has been an innovator in the sense that she doesn’t believe in old ideas of hairstyles and makeovers. Being CEO of Beenish Parvez Salon, she has many renowned projects on her credit, out of which Coke Studio is the one.

She is not a follower but a trend setter in many aspects of makeup and style. Beenish greatly values her celebrity and social clientele and her creative work is her enduring passion. She has worked with celebrities like Aisha Khan, Sadia Imam and Humaima Malik. While talking to The News Tribe (TNT), she was like:

TNT: Tell us little bit about your story and how you got into fashion styling?

Beenish: I was always passionate about hair and makeup. I knew that I was going to be a stylist at a very early stage.

TNT: Fashion industry is a tough business to break into, what was your big break?

Beenish: There wasn’t one specific BIG BREAK. There were a whole bunch of little ones. Everything is also relative to where you are at in your career.

TNT: What would be your advice to girls starting out in the fashion industry?

Beenish: Get proper fashion education and know about history of fashion so that you can make new trends.

TNT: If you could pick 5 beauty must-haves that every woman should own, what would they be?

Beenish: Ever woman should have lipstick, a blush, Mascara, eye brow pencil and a compact.

TNT: What’s a great styling tip that you can share with readers?

Beenish: Wear what makes you feel good about yourself. You will look hot if you feel good.

TNT: What’s the most important lesson that life has taught you?

Beenish: You can do anything you wish if you are willing to put all of the energy it takes to manifest it. Life is beautiful.
