Swat: The accountant of Malala Yousafzai’s, a girl who shot in head by Pakistani Taliban, school Khushhal Public School has been released.
Rahimullah, the accountant, was among four servants of the school including two gatekeepers and driver of her van were under the security agencies’ custody for investigation.
Two gatekeepers and the accountant have been released by the agencies but Usman, the driver, is yet under the custody.
Malala, 14, was attacked on her school bus in the former Taliban stronghold of the Swat valley last Tuesday, first airlifted from Swat to a military hospital in the northwestern city of Peshawar, then to the country’s top military hospital in Rawalpindi, where doctors on Sunday took her off a ventilator for a “successful” short trial.
Malala was sent abroad at a time when her condition is “optimal and before any unforeseen complications set in.
