PPP likely to remove Faisal Abidi from Senate over anti-CJP stance

Islamabad: Pakistan People’s Party Monday took notice of the harsh statements of PPP senator Faisal Raza Abidi against Chief Justice of Pakistan Iftikhar Mohammad Chaudhry and decided to issue another show-cause notice to the Senator.

The decision was made in the PPP core committee meeting, president by President Asif Ali Zardari and Prime Minister Raja Pervez Ashraf at the President House.

The committee also considered on the option of taking resignation from the senator before the next Senate session.

What a bunch of hypocrites these PPP lot are.To give the impression that they have all the respect in the world for the judiciary they are going to make an example of abidi by getting rid of him.Itfikar must be mighty pleased with all this, now that his “exposure” will be swept under the carpet!Only a few weeks ago gilani said he woiuld rather go to jail than write the “letter”- a slap in the face for the judiciary! zardari & co the wahabi stooges rule over a country which practices the Law of the Jungle in the purest form -the strong triumph over the weak-that is pakistan of today – not pakistan of Jinnah.
