The US Navy SEALs who killed Osama bin Laden in a raid inside Pakistan trained on a similar site in North Carolina, Navy Seal Mark Bissonnette has revealed in his best-selling book “No Easy Day”.
A whistle-blowing website Cryptome has published images from Bing Maps of Harvey Point Defense Testing in North Carolina, a CIA training facility.
The photos show a site that is a replica of the compound in Abbottabad where bin Laden used to live.
Cryptome published its findings on its website on Tuesday.
But Google Earth shows that the site was destroyed as of January 30, 2012.
