DI Khan: The law enforcement authorities raided a guest house in Dera Ismail Khan on Friday, in an attempt to arrest the foreign media persons who covered the Peace march of Pakistan Tehrik-i-Insaaf (PTI).
According to sources, the Peshawar police surrounded a guest house in Diyyal Road area of DI Khan and demanded the journalists to immediately surrender themselves before police as they violated Foreign Act, which prevents foreigners from visiting DI Khan and other tribal areas.
The journalists said that they stayed at the guest house as it would be dangerous travelling through Punjab during night.
The Police authorities assured journalists that they would be safely transported to Lahore, provincial capital of Pakistan’s province Punjab.
