Suresh Raina calls Pakistan ‘besharam’ on Twitter after semi-final loss

New Delhi: Indian cricketer Suresh Raina allegedly ridiculed Pakistan cricket team on Twitter after they were beaten by Sri Lanka in the first semi-final of the ICC World T20 in Colombo on Thursday.

“Ek do din late gaye ghar !!!! Woh bhi besharam ki tarah Gaye… Bye bye Pakistan!!!!” he tweeted, but later deleted the post, according to Mid-Day.com.

Both Pakistan and India won four out of their five matches, but Pakistan qualified for the semi-finals due to their superior run rate.

India beat Pakistan eighth match in a row in the World Cups, but their heavy defeat against Australia impacted in their ouster from the World Cup.

Pakistan are the only team who reach the semi-finals in all the four World Cups of the format and became the first world champion in 2009.
