Karachi: Some unidentified miscreants hurled two grenades on a house in Gulistan-e-Jauhar area of Karachi, causing no causalities.
According to sources, unidentified men riding on motor bikes hurled two grenades on a trader’s house in Gulistan-e-Jauhar block-1.
Only one grenade exploded while the other was defused by bomb disposal squad.
Speaking on the condition of Anonymity, the police officials said that the trader was receiving threats from extortion mafia and the incident occurred after he refused to pay extortion.
The police has started investigations in order to arrest the culprits.
