Karachi: A fierce fire broke out at a cooking oil mill located in SITE area of Karachi, a metropolitan of Pakistan, here on Saturday.
According to reports, the fire tenders across the city were summoned on the spot after the authorities declared a third degree blaze. The electricity of the factory was disconnected as precautionary measure.
However, no casualties have been reported as the factory staff was safely rescued by the firefighters but a fireman was rushed to hospital after sustaining injuries in the line of duty.
It is to be mentioned here that a fire in a garments factory caused deaths to 289 people in the city just a month ago.
