Karachi: Two cops were killed in two separate incidents of violent clashes between police and demonstrators protesting against blasphemous movie here on Friday.
Sources said that clashes took place between police and enraged protesters wanting to enter the red zone on Netty Jetty bridge, injuring a police constable. He was shifted to hospital where he succumbed to his bullet injuries.
Separately, a policeman was killed while trying to disperse a crowd protesting against anti-Islam film in Sohrab Goth area.
