Colombo: India cricket team on Monday batted well against the strong Pakistann pace attack and set a target of 186 runs in World Cup T20 warm up match played at R Premadasa Stadium in Colombo
Although the opening batsman G Ghambhir got early but V Kholi and RG Sharma who scored 127 runs played brilliantly to stable the Indian innings. V Kholi ’s blistering inning of 74 runs in innings helped the team to score a reasonable target of 186 runs for the loss of three wickets.
Pakistan bowlers tried to restrict the flurry of runs but failed in their attempt. Saeed Ajmal took 2 wickets while Umer Gul took one wicket.
