Misbah-ul-Haq has better T20 record than MS Dhoni

Karachi: Pakistan One Day International skipper Misbah-ul-Haq has comparatively better T20 International record than Indian captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni.

Statistics show that Misbah ul Haq, who made his T20 debut again Bangladesh in 2007, has scored 788 runs in 34 innings with an average of 37.52 while Dhoni, who played his first T20 against South Africa in 2006 scored 565 runs with an average of 29.74 in 30 innings.

Misbah, who left the T20 cricket after criticism from the cricket lovers for slow play, hit 26 sixes and 45 fours and made three half centuries in the new format of the game. His highest score is 87 against Bangladesh.

On the other hand, Dhoni smashed 17 sixes and 32 fours and has not scored any century or half century yet. His best is 48 runs inning against Australia.

Misbah lead the Pakistani side in eight T20 internationals and Pakistan have won six matches under his leadership while India played 29 games under Dhoni’s leadership and won only 13 games.

  1. EXCUSE ME|||||||||| misbah bhai is very gud player in all but we should not play him in t/20 bcoz we have most tellented players in the team beter then him… and india have no gud players that y they play all the time their GISY PITAY PLAYERS hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahah

  2. Man we lost the 3rd T20 today against australia because of misbahs tuk tuk… oh wait… he didnt play?!? How do we blame him now?!?

    •  Lol well said! Misbah has always been made the escape goat in shorter formats when he in fact is the one who absorbs the pressure and plays for the team… anyways im glad he’s gone so he cant be blamed anymore and the real shortcomings of pakistans batting can come to light. 95% of batsmen are just sloggers, if they fire we can get 200 but 90% of the time they wont and we get under 100 which is very frustrating should at least play asad for some stability when needed…

You win AND lose due to all 11 players not just one player 99% of the time!
