Ranbir Kapoor found the script to revive RK banner

Mumbai: We all know that Ranbir Kapoor plans to revive the RK banner but the latest twist is that apparently he has got the script that will revitalize RK Films.

A source close to Kapoor family said, “Ranbir was recently approached by director Sriram Raghavan with a script. After listening to it, Ranbir felt this could be just the right film for the banner. He has sought help from dad Rishi Kapoor to supervise the script and to make sure that it turns out to be a commercial film. Rishi will eventually be producing the film.”

However Ranbir and Sriram have not commented on the issue. And for all those who are wondering who is Sriram then remember “Agent Vinod”. Sriram was the director of Agent Vinod, a film that was not able to achieve anything on box office.

Last film produced by the banner was ‘Aa Ab Laut Chalein’ and other productions include ‘Barsaat’, ‘Sangam’ and ‘Bobby’.

R.K Films is a film studio established by veteran Bollywood actor, Raj Kapoor. It was created in 1948, one year after the independence of India. Most of the R.K. Films productions share a common theme of criticising society and depicting love across social divide.
