Indian forces open fire at Sialkot border, six injured

Sialkot: At least six Pakistani citizens were injured after unprovoked firing and mortar shelling by Indian Border Security Forces (BSF) at Sialkot working boundary, here on Thursday night.

According to military officials, Indian forces opened fire in village Surkhpur of Chapriyal sector, some 10 kilometers away from Sialkot. Unprovoked firing injured six civilians including two women and a child.

The injured have been shifted to CMH Sialkot. Pakistan security forces also replied to the unprovoked attack, pressing the rivals to refrain from further attacks.
