US supports Pakistan’s steps for securing Nuclear arsenal

Washington: United States (US) State Department Spokeswoman Victoria Nuland Thursday said that US supports Pakistan’s measures for securing Nuclear arsenal.

Giving a routine press briefing at State Department, Nuland said that Pakistan had rejected reports about the presence of Nuclear weapons at Kamra airbase.

“US is trying to speed up the war against terror with the help of Pakistan,” she said adding that the cooperation of Nato, Pakistan and Afghanistan is very essential for US in the region.

The spokesperson further applauded Pakistan’s part in the war against terror and said that Pakistan had given sacrifices in the war against terror.
