Karachi: Former speaker of Pakistan’s national assembly Illahi Buksh Soomro has been appointed as chancellor of Institute of Business Management (IoBM).

According to a release, Dr. Ishrat-ul-Ibad, Governor Sindh and Patron of IoBM has appointed Mr. Illahi Buksh Soomro, former Rector of Ghulam Ishaq Khan Institute of Technology and Speaker of the National Assembly, as Chancellor of IoBM.

Mr. Soomro will serve the institute in the same capacity for a period of three years effective August 13, 2012.
