London: Jelly Bean (Android 4.1) update for Samsung Galaxy S III is ready and is expected to be announced on August 29. And on the same date, probably the company will announce a new product for its Galaxy note series.

Android 4.1, Jelly Bean, is the fastest and smoothest version of Android yet. Jelly Bean improves on the simplicity and beauty of Android 4.0, and introduces a new Google search experience on Android.

But the point of concern is that even if Jelly Bean is released, it will still take some time before it makes it on your smart phone. Because it is no Apple’s iOS, Android upgrades are handled by the carriers and they require approval before it starts working on your Galaxy S III.
