New York: Google is all set to cut 4,000 jobs from Motorola which was bought by the tech giant earlier this year, The New York Times reports.
According to various tech sites, the cut off will start from, Motorola, a $ 12.5 billion acquisition by Google, today
At present total number of workforce of Motorola is about 19,000, about 60 percent of Google, reports Business Insider.
“The move is part of a plan to focus the manufacturer’s energies on a few cellphones and abandon the many low-end devices it has been producing for years,” Dennis Woodside, Motorola’s current CEO, told the New York Times.
