Quetta: At least two passengers were injured after unidentified assailants attacked Bolan Mail, a passenger train, in Kolpur area of Bolan, a district of Pakistan’s province Balochistan.
According to Pakistan Railway (PR) Police sources, unidentified assailants attacked the train with a rocket and then started firing at it, ultimately wounding two passengers of the train.
The security forces replied to the attack but the miscreants were able to flee from the area.
The injured have been shifted to local hospitals, they said.
It is to be mentioned that Pakistan’s Interior Minister Rehman Malik had blamed foreign elements for deteriorating Balochistan’s peace.
