London: After setting records at London 2012, self-claimed ‘living legend’ Usain Bolt has set a new record at Twitter with reaching a record peak of 80,000 Tweets per minute.
Usain Bolt, the fastest man on the planet, has become a ‘legend’ after clinching gold in the 200m in London 2012, saying ‘I’m now a legend. I am the greatest athlete to live’.
Commenting on his lightening run in 100m win earlier in the summer games, he said that he would not be a “legend” until he had also won the 200m.
Usain Bolt won 200m in 19.32 seconds, becoming first man to defend both 100-metre and 200-metre Olympic titles.
But his new record came after official Twitter account says:

Earlier record of highest tweets during an Olympics event was when a female US gymnast was in action. Gabby Douglas earned the women’s all round gymnastics gold medal, with 38,000 tweets per minute happening during her victory.
