London: Finally the teaser trailer of much awaited “Zero Dark Thirty”, that chronicles the manhunt for Osama Bin Laden, is out.
“Zero Dark Thirty” is an American action thriller film about the special operations forces mission that kill Osama bin Laden. Director of the film is Kathryn Bigelow with screenplay by Mark Boal. They also did “The Hurt Locker” together, another military action thriller.
The teaser mostly contains maps that cover the current state of the ground zero to the actual compound of Bin Laden in Abbotabad, Pakistan.
Though the movie is star studded but no one is shown properly in the trailer except for Kyle Chandler, playing the role of head of CIA.
Controversies:
Allegedly, Bigelow and team was given access to the top level classified information by US president Barack Obama during the research of the film but Bigelow denies all such rumors.
Also the filming of this movie enraged right wing Indians as some parts of Chandigarh are used in the film as Abbotabad and Lahore and infuriated Indians had problem with the portrayal of Indian land as Pakistan.
