Omaha: Omaha has created a new record of hosting the largest dessert party and Guiness world record recognizes it.
This largest dessert party was held last week in Omaha, Nebraska, USA. Seven hundred and forty (740) people attended the party and enjoyed over 3800 desserts.
It was organized by Physicians Mutual (USA) and all the delicious desserts were made by Treat America Food Services (USA).
The event was lead by former Nebraska Cornhuskers football player Matt Davidson.
To set the record, there were certain conditions. At least three kinds of desserts should be served to the people and they have to eat at least one of them.
The list of scrumptious desserts included:
• 537 lemon meringue tartlets
• 476 mini cheesecakes
• 420 cookies
• 312 mini cup cakes
• 297 chocolates
• 432 petit fours
• 138 cream puffs
• 306 eclairs
• 177 cut fruit kabobs
• 250 dipped strawberries
• 72 banana bars
• 416 turtle brownies
