Mumbai: Sonam Kapoor, Anil Kapoor’s daughter, has moved to Delhi and she will stay there for few months.

The move has a very serious and professional purpose behind it i.e. her current project, Ranjhana in which she is playing against Tamil film industry star Dhanush.

‘Raanjhnaa’ is an upcoming Romantic Hindi film to be directed by Anand L. Rai and written by Himanshu Sharma, who previously worked on the highly successful 2011 film, Tanu Weds Manu.

The film requires Sonam to play a North Indian girl studying at Delhi University. And the producers of the film want her to get the complete idea of Delhi girls as it will help in doing the role comfortably

She is very happy with this change and she also has few relatives in the Delhi. Her aunt owns a farmhouse just outside Delhi and that guarantees some family time for Sonam with her aunt and cousins.
