The current app has never worked for me anyway, so I’ve always depended on other apps for videos. At the top of my list right now is the Dish Remote Access app. It was recently updated for the iPad, so now the UI is easier and better than it was before. Plus, I feel like I get more from the app because I’m able to watch live TV and my DVR recordings while I’m away from home. The app works in conjunction with the Sling Adapter that I got from Dish after I started working for them, and it’s been more than enough to keep me satisfied with not using YouTube.
