San Francisco: Apple said on Monday that the new version of its iPhone and iPad software will not include a pre-packaged app for Google popular video website, YouTube.
“Our license to include the YouTube app in iOS has ended,” Apple said in a statement on Monday, according to Reuters. “Customers can use YouTube in the safari browser and Google is working on a new YouTube app to be on the app store.”
In response, YouTube issued its own statement: “We are working with Apple to ensure we have the best possible YouTube experience for iOS users.”
