Interference in Balochistan: Qamar says talks underway with India

Islamabad: Pakistan’s Defence Minister, Naveed Qamar Sunday said that there is strong evidence of foreign interference in Balochistan and talks on the issue are underway with neighboring arch rival India.

Addressing a press conference along with Governor Balochistan Nawabzada Zulfiqar Magsi, Naveed Qamar said that the Cabinet committee on Balochistan would submit its report on daily basis on the issue, adding it is the Cabinet which will decide as to who the government will in engage talks with.

The Defence Minister said the issue of Balochistan will be resolved only through democratic and political means and that recommendations in this regard would be put forth in the next meeting of the Cabinet after consulting with all the stakeholders.
