Dadu: A senior Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) activist tried to commit self immolation after he was not let meet Sindh Chief Minister Qaim Ali Shah in Dadu district on Saturday.
According reports, Waris Jamali reached Deputy Commissioner House where Shah was busy in meeting and tried to meet the CM. He spilled petrol and tried to commit suicide by self-immolation as security staff of the chief minister stopped him from meeting.
Security personnel foiled his bit as they rushed and snatched the bottle of fuel from him. Waris Jamali said he was very aggrieved and wanted to tell his problems to the chief minister.
