London: After losing to Netherlands and New Zealand India will take on defending champions Germany in a Group B match of the men`s hockey competition at the London Olympics 2012.
Loss or a draw in the remaining three league matches will certainly take them out of contention.
India`s semi final hopes in Olympic Games men`s hockey competition were dealt a severe blow when the side slumped to a humiliating 1-3 defeat against New Zealand on Wednesday.
India, who lost to Netherlands by 2-3 in opening match on Monday, not only need to win all their matches, but also pray for favourable results in other games.
