Islamabad: Petroleum Minister Dr Asim Hussain has said that gas reserves in Sui would end in 2022.
During a briefing to parliamentary committee on Friday, he said the gas reserves in Sui, Balochistan would be consumed by the 2022.
He said that gas production from Sui Gas Field was decreasing by 5 percent annually.
Hussain said that 12 gas royalty was given to Balochistan and the chief minister should be asked as to whether it had been spent.
It is to mention here that gas reserves were discovered in Sui, Balochistan, in 1952.
