Pakistan’s biggest Dolphin pool nears completion

Karachi: Pakistan’s biggest pool for Dolphins show will be completed within stipulated time at Pakistan Maritime Museum Karachi.

The development and designing works for first of its kind, state of the art mega pool is underway at faster pace, the 14 feet deep and 80×50 feet in dimension pool will be completed next month before the arrival of Dolphins from Russia.

At present 40 percent work has been completed in which major infrastructure has been constructed whereas the rest of the work includes the designing and finishing of the project, Mustafa Kamal, CEO TBI said.

Special team is working on the technical project under the supervision of marine experts in view to provide best swimming abode for foreign Dolphins keeping in mind the healthy living and environment conditions, he said.

There will be four beautiful and entertaining Dolphins and two sea lions arriving in Pakistan next month. These animals will be looked after by special foreign trainers them, he mentioned that at least 5 expert trainers and handlers are scheduled to accompany the Dolphins.

The pool is one of its kinds surrounded by largest sitting arrangement of more than 4,000 people. The construction is being carried out in the way that masses can be entertained by marine animals easily.

The world class Dolphin show is scheduled to be inaugurated on 1st October.
