Lahore: A local court on Monday exonerated four accused in passport  scandal.

The Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) produced four accused, two each from the Passport and VISA offices, and told the court that they had not found any evidence against them.

The FIA picked the four accused four days ago and carried on interrogation. The FIA prosecutors submitted the report to the court and told the judge that they would have no objection if they were released as no evidence against them was found during the course of interrogation. Now, the FIA has no suspect linked to passport scandal  in its custody.     The accused were Asif, Wasif, Ghafar and Faheem.

The court acquitted the accused and adjourned the hearing.
