Talat Hussain joins Express News

Islamabad: Pakistan’s one of the veteran journalists and leading TV anchors Syed Talat Hussain has switched to Express media group from Dawn TV, said  Such TV website which is believed to be run by the journalist himself.

Talat Hussain, who is wildly respected for his courageous stance over the  issues of national importance, will be hosting a current affairs show and writing regularly for various publications of the group.

The website claimed that Hussain  replaced Kamran Shahid, who was previously the host of Front Line on Express News.

It said Shahid had not been hosting his regular 8pm show for the past two weeks with a temporary host filling in.

Hussain received  accolade during the days of Malik’s Riaz-Arsaln Iftikhar media debate as he was the one and only news anchor who had been speaking against property tycoon openly from the day first of the scandal.

    Definitely good to see Talat on Express news, Now I don’t have to switch between the channels to watch two good Talk show hosts, i.e. Javed Chowdhry and Talat Hussain
