Olympic Games 2012: Pakistani swimmer Anum Bandey out

London: Pakistani female athlete Anum Bandey has not qualified for gold medal in London 2012 Olympic competitions today (Saturday).

She secured 4th position in the swimming competition for women’s 400m Individual Medley. However , she succeeded in  improving her individual  position slightly.

 She had expressed the hope that she would win gold medal for Pakistan.

She is a Pakistani athlete  based in London for studies.

Olympic Games began on Friday  after a dazzling ceremony with millions of people watching on TV screens across the globe.

    she is the pride of nation, irrespective of that she dint won a medal but she was number 4 and our only swimmer to be appearing in these olympics. Media should promote her.
