London: On thursday, the day 69 has been marked as the penultimate day for the Olympic flame to relay finally to St Paul’s cathedral and Buckingham Palace.
Today the torch has been travelling through the heart of London from Camden to Westminster. Clive Woodward, Team GB’s deputy chef de mission kicked off the day at the roundhouse in Camden.
The flame had then carried down to Regent’s canal on a boat by a 16-year old Paris walker, after that he had handed it over to Luke Corduner at St Pancras international station. According to reports Luke has been chosen in account of his work, that is coaching sport to young people.
From St Pancras, when the torch relay reaches Islington town hall, comedian David Williams will carry the flame for his works of charity that he has been completed by facing remarkable sporting challenges.
The Olympic flame after visiting through London landmarks during the course of the day, including St Paul’s cathedral, Downing street and finally to the Buckingham Palace, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge and Prince Harry will sight the torch hand over at Buckingham Palace.
The day will end up in Hyde Park, where final evening celebration will be observe. the ticketed event will feature performances of Dizzee Rascal, the wanted, Mark Ronson, Tyler Rix, Katy B and more.
