Karachi: Police on Wednesday claimed to have arrested a target killer in Manghopir area of Karachi.

SSP West Amir Farooqui said accused Nazirullah was involved in target killing of many people, including a CID official.

Police said the accused also collected extortion from the marble factories located in the area.

They said the police, acting upon a tip off, raided the house of the accused and arrested him, besides, recovering arms from his custody.

The alleged target killer has been shifted to an undisclosed location for further investigation.

Police avoided to disclose the political affiliation of the accused.
