World’s tiniest frogs are 8.5 millimeter long which makes them smaller than an M&M candy.

Two species of frog, comes in the tiniest category, are the Paedophryne dekot and the P. verrucosa. And these little frogs lives on leaves and mites.

The Paedophryne dekot is 8.5 to 9 millimeter long. And dekot actually means very small in the Daga language.The P. verrucosa, meaning “full of warts” in Latin, is 8.8 to 9.3 millimeter long.

These are the smallest frog in the world and they also own the honor of being the smallest tetrapods, or vertebrates with four legs.
