Kabul: ISAF joins the Government of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan in condemning cross-border insurgent indirect fire attacks. “We continue to work with the Afghan Ministry of Defense, and the Pakistani government to ensure an end of these attacks,” ISAF stated in an official statement issued to Media.
The Tripartite Commission meetings (Afghanistan, Pakistan, and ISAF) offer opportunities to discuss wide-ranging issues of tactical, operational and strategic importance. These ongoing discussions underscore the importance of working together on the opportunities and challenges facing Afghanistan in the days, months, and years to come.
The Tripartite Commission will continue to work toward securing the sovereignty of Afghanistan, the safety of the Afghan people, and our shared goals of a peaceful, stable, and prosperous Afghanistan.
