Lahore: A group has been forcing young girls from villages into prostitution on the pretext of jobs in beauty parlours in Lahore.

According to a report published in a local daily Nai baat on Monday, the group offers jobs in beauty parlors against handsome salaries and forces the girls into prostitution shortly after the recruitment.

The story unfolded when police arrested four men associated with the group and lodged an FIR against them on the complaint of an affected girl.

The newspaper said the group has sell out more than 160 young girls in different parts of the country.

Kehkashan, a resident Lahore, told police her story how she was forced to prostitution. “Sobia Usman is my cousin and ran a beauty parlor in Nawab Twon. She often came to our home. Once she told my father she needs a girl at her beauty parlor against Rs 15,000 salary package.

My dad nodded agreement and sent me with Sobia, who kept me in her house without assigning any job for a month except putting me on exhibition for her visitors.

Sobia, his father Khalid and brother Zahid closed door behind me in a room with a man, who introduced himself as an employee of Secretariat.

He tortured me before raping as I refused to indulge in sex. After that, new people kept visiting me and Sobia kept me exploiting and torturing upon refusal for four months.

Three days ago, I fled the Sobia’s “cage” and informed my father about Sobia and get lodged an FIR”.

Kehkashan told police that Sobia and family kept changing their hideouts and recently they had brought girls Saima, Asma and Nimra for prostitution and was searching for “clients”.

Police said that Sobia has gone underground and her beauty parlor was found closed.
