Karachi: The Pakistan Meteorological Department has said that Ramadan crescent is likely to be sighted in coastal areas of Sindh and Balochistan.
It said there are chances of moon being seen 42 minutes after the sunset. The central Ruwet-e-Hilal Committee will meet with its head Mufti Muneebur Rehman in the chair to sight the moon and collect evidences from different parts of the country.
The met office said moon sighting was unlikely in middle and upper parts of the country due to cloudy weather.
