Karachi: The security forces with the help of a common man foiled a big terror bid in the Karachi city on Friday morning as the bomb disposal squad defused over 13 kilogramme bomb, found outside a private school in Gulshan-e-Iqbal area of the metropolis.
Police sources said that the gatekeeper of the school situated at Safoora Chowrangi on main University Road saw a suspicious bag outside the school and immediately informed the Rangers. They added that the Rangers rushed to spot and called the bomb disposal squad for the further process.
“The bomb disposal squad reached the place and defused the bomb packed in concrete and recovered ball bearings and remote device,” they added.
