Karachi: The Sindh High Court (SHC) on Thursday granted 4-week protection bail to Malik Riaz, a real estate tycoon, in land corruption case.

Riaz pleaded the SHC, seeking the bail after Rawalpindi’s Anti Corruption Court (ACC) issued non-bailable warrant of the property tycoon along with six others.

The SHC granted him 4 weeks protection bail for Rs1 million.

Riaz, while talking to media, said that he had trust in the judiciary, adding that he wanted free trial.
