Muzaffarnagar: The educated Muslim girls of a village have taken oath at a local Jirga not to use mobile phone and wear Jeans till 12th class.

Earlier a local Jirga in Indian state of Utter Pradesh asked to ban mobile phone and wearing Jeans for girls till 12th class. Severely criticizing the decision, Indian media is naming it Talibanization.

However, the Muslim girls from village near Muzafer Nagger came out in favor of the decision by taking oath not to use mobile phone and not to wear Jeans till 12th class. About 50 girls took oath in the Jirga.

The girls who were engaged in Jirga said that only a part of media is protesting against the design and naming it Talibanization and others names.

“We know our tradition very well and we know that what’s good for us,” they added while rejecting criticism over the oath.

I am also in favor of using Mobile phones ban for students as this will disturb students a lot and they will becoming part of unethical things more.
