Multan: Election commission decides for the first time to provide government transport services to the voters in Multan’s bye-election.
The Bye-Election will be held Thursday at the vacant seat of former Prime Minister Syed Yousuf Raza Gilani. Election commission has arranged more than 71 vehicles for transportation of voters.
According to Election Commission, the design was made under the lights of 8th June judgment of Supreme Court.
About 40 camps were setup for By-Election. The information forward to the constituency’s 138 thousand voters by post at their homes.
Also voters have been told about their vote numbers through SMS services. The Election commission has told voters about their polling station’s number through SMS service.
