Khairpur: A woman on Sunday allegedly threw her three children into Rohri Canal before committing suicide by jumping into the same water in Khirpur district of Sindh, police said.
The police said that the incident took place in Tando Masti when a woman named Azima Ohjan along with her three children Waheeda, 5, Abdul Waheed, 3 and another girl jumped into a Rohri Canal due to family conflict.
The people who were present at the moment called the divers to recovered the bodies.
“The incident was apparently a result of family conflict, however we are investigating into the incident,” the police said.
