PM Ashraf arrives Saudi Arabia

Jeddah: Pakistan’s Prime Minister Raja Pervez Ashraf has arrived Saudi Arabia on Sunday on a two-day official visit.

During his visit, PM Ashraf will perform Umrah and also hold a meeting with Saudi King Abdullah Bin Abdul Aziz in Jeddah on Monday.

Earlier, talking to media representatives at Chaklala airbase just before departure, the Prime Minister said matters of mutual interest will come under discussion during his meeting with Saudi King Abdullah bin Abdul Aziz.

The Prime Minister will also offer his condolences to the Saudi King on the death of Crown Prince Nayef bin Abdulaziz Al Saud.

Raja Pervez will perform Umra on Sunday and will offer Salam at Roza-e-Rasool (Peace Be Upon Him) and Nawafil at the Masjid-e-Nabvi in Madina.

The Prime Minister will also meet Pakistani community living in Saudi Arabia.

Federal Minister for Religious Affairs Syed Khurshid Shah is accompanying the Prime Minister.

Raja Pervez said Saudi Arabia has close brotherly ties with Pakistan and it gives importance to Pakistan’s government and its people.
