Gujranwala: Police and intelligence agencies on Saturday arrested eight accused allegedly involved in an attack on a roadside camp of the Pakistan army set up on the bank of Chanab river in Gujrat on July 09.
According to reports, the law enforcement agencies conducted raids in People’s Colony and Aimanabad localities after they found clues during the investigation.
The reports said a motorcycle that was found near the site of attack led to the arrest .
The accused have been shifted to an undisclosed location for investigation. As many as seven soldiers of the army and policeman were killed as gunmen opened fire on them.
