Those who have a fear of Dolls by seeing the Child’s Play movie, I would advise those people that they should not visit “La Isla de la Munecas” , a Spanish name which means the Island of the dolls, or in case you want to kill your fear so must visit it .
“La Isla de la Munecas” which can be hypothetically called as “Sanctuary of Dolls” is located in Mexico. The name admonish that the place will tangled with beautiful dolls with attracting features and that leave a never ending impression on the tourists but the reality is bit different and brutal when one finds thousands of mutilated dolls clinging on every other tree of the island.
Here the question arises who have made this island with hanging dolls? Now I am revealing the mystery.
Don Julian Santana, who likes to live in solitude, dedicated his fifty years of life to build the wacky island, “La Isla de la Munecas”. It is assumed that, he did this to relish the spirit of a little girl who had drowned in the canal.
Apart from this, whatever the reason behind creating this, the place is much scary and he succeeded to turn this place into a bizarre. Every sight of mutilated dolls haunts you with your every single step on this weird island.
Don Julian is assumed as a person who didn’t engage much with the society, the only thing which connect him with the society to buy dolls in exchange for his homegrown fruits and vegetables and it is said that he scavenged dolls from the dump or garbage.
In 2001 he found dead in the same manner as the girl that is he found drowned in the canal. He is dead but he left these scary dolls to mark history or his brutal visions of mutilated dolls hung in the manner of punishment remain there to scar people.
This ghostly sighted island serves as a dark tourist’s attraction especially for the adventure loving youngsters.
