Karachi: The claims for the preparation of monsoon season by the Sindh government were flooded late on Tuesday night after the province is experiencing a power breakdown.
According to reports many cities and districts of the province including Karachi, Hyderabad, Badin, Mitthi, Thatta, Kotri, Jamshor have gone under darkness due to rainfall in Hyderabad.
Almost six feeders of the different areas of the Hyderabad tripped due to the rainfall while a 500 kv transmission line was also damaged due to rain near Jamshoro.
Different areas of Karachi have also undergone darkness. The areas include Gulshan-e-Iqbal, North Karachi, Gulistan-e-Jauhar, F.B.Area and many others.
The KESC spokesman told media that the different areas of the city were in darkness due to the damage of 220 kv transmission line near Jamshoro.
The spokesman further said that the teams were on their way to recover the system and soon the supply would be restored in the areas.
