Islamabad: Commenting over US Ambassador Cameron Munter’s remarks that Imran Khan is a pro-American, the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf Chairman on Wednesday said he was not against any nation instead he was an opponent of US policies.
You should be asking this question to Mr Munter what he meant by saying i am a pro-American, but i will say that i am not against any nation instead i am against policies of US and India, Khan said to a reporter at Karachi’s Jinnah International Airport.
Khan said that even the US masses were also supporting his anti-war rhetoric. “Americans also support my views on war,” he said and announced that the PTI would held a massive rally in Peshawar on 14th July against government’s decision to reopen Nato supplies.
Imran Khan said he would take a long march on Islamabad if government tried to destroy the Supreme Court of Pakistan. He added the government had attacked the judiciary by the passage of Contempt Law to protect corruption of Asif Ali Zardari.
The PTI chief said that Pakistanis expatriates were an asset for Pakistan and his party fought for their ballot rights but only a Pakistan passport holder should become lawmaker in the country.
