Karachi: Justice retd Fakhruddin G Ibrahim has said that he is ready to become Chief Election Commissioner.
Talking to a private media on Tuesday, he said that his top most priority would be to held transparent election and media and civil society should play their role in this regard.
He said that people of Pakistan have been undergoing pain.Ibrahim said that he had not formally been informed about he is being made CEC.
To a question, he said he was an opponent of dual nationality.
He reiterate that parliament’s tenure should be four years. The government and its coalition partners agreed on Ibrahim’s name for the post chief election commission.
