Islamabad: Pakistan’s Foreign Office Spokesperson Moazzam Ali Khan on Wednesday said that the Pakistan’s foreign office played an important role in the negotiations on Nato supplies between Pakistan and United States.

Giving a press briefing, the spokesman said that the negotiations were carried out at the house of Foreign Minister Hina Rabbani Khar.

“Nato supply was restored in accordance with the recommendations of the parliament,” he said adding that the US had to pay Pakistan more than $2 billion in terms of Coalition Support Fund (CSF).

The spokesman said that Pakistan raised the issue of drone attacks in the recent negotiations and there were still reservations among the two countries on the issue of drone attacks.

“It is not necessary for Pakistan to accept the US stance on drone attacks,” he said.
